And although several third-part apps and software programs exist to help accomplish this task, if you just want basic functionality, it is now finally built into Windows 10, and as an added bonus, it is very easy to set up.
To get started, right-click the desktop and select the Personalize option.
Here, click the Background drop-down menu and choose Slideshow, and you will be prompted to select a folder containing the images that you wish to include. You will also have the ability to decide how frequently the image will change.
This is a great way to keep the boring old desktop fresh and interesting!
In fact, it’s a great idea to keep a separate folder of images, photos and wallpapers that you want rotated as your desktop backgrounds and keep adding to them and building up your library of desktop wallpapers.
