The infamous Adobe Flash plugin may no longer be all the rage it once was, but it is still occasionally necessary for the modern browsing experience. Hence, it’s including in Microsoft Edge.

However, this plugin is notorious for its security holes.

And the web is moving away from it.

You can too, by following these simple instructions.

Open Edge, and click the menu button on the upper-right corner, the one with the three dots.

Here, select Settings.

Now, click the View advanced stings button. You may have to scroll down a little bit to find it, as it’s towards the very end.

Here, you can simply toggle the Use Adobe Flash Player switch to off.
