Windows 10 App Review: Todoist

The popular Todoist app has arrived for Windows 10. Although it is in preview form for now, this is a universal application that works on PCs, tablets and smartphones powered by Microsoft’s OS.

Those of you unaware with this app, this is a task management service.

One that is available on a variety of operating platforms.

Users can add, manage and edit tasks using the app, and also sync their tasks across devices. Collaboration features allow others to work on the tasks you create, and this version of Todoist also takes advantage of exclusive Windows 10 features like Live Tiles and actionable notifications.

Here’s a look at the official description:

“Join the 5 million+ people around the world who are accomplishing their goals with Todoist – the beautiful, simple to-do list built for the pace of modern life.

Get your tasks out of your head and onto your to-do list so you can focus on what’s important right now. Whether you need to collaborate with your team, keep track of an important project, or just remember to pay the rent, Todoist is there to help you achieve more, every day.”

The company is billing this as their first ever native desktop app, offering a Todoist look and feel optimized for the platform.

Considering this is a preview, this free app is not optimized for Windows 10 Mobile devices for now, nor does it support languages other than English. But features like this, as well as integration with Cortana are on track to arrive at a later date.

For how things stand, this is one of the best productivity applications available for Windows 10 right now, and should help close the app gap a little for Microsoft’s new operating platform.
