Here are the steps for that:

    • Cloud download will re-install Windows 11 from the files present on the cloud. It is recommended to choose this re-installation way if you feel the installation files on your system are corrupted. Remember that cloud will take 4 GB of internet data.
    • Local reinstall will re-install Windows 11 using the recovery files stored locally. Chose this if you are sure that your system files are clean.
  6. Verify the settings; if you want, you can configure some additional settings. For that, click on Change settings.additional-reset-settings

What if none of the above methods work?

If none of the above-listed methods work for resetting your Windows 11 system, then the only option is to fresh install Windows 11 externally. For that, you require installation media in the form of a USB or a DVD. You can easily create a bootable device for installing Windows 11 using Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool for Windows 11. However, if your computer is not in working condition, you will need another system for creating the installation media.

Another option is to roll back to Windows 10. Since Windows 11 is still a fresh OS, it might keep causing problems like compatibility issues and more. Therefore, it is best to keep using Windows 10 until Windows 11 becomes stable.

Will resetting Windows fix problems?

Since resetting the Windows wipes out everything, including the malicious or corrupted files, most problems might be fixed on resetting a computer.

Does resetting PC fix BSOD?

Most BSOD issues are due to hardware failure rather than software. So resetting the PC would probably not fix the BSOD as resetting such clears everything from the computer and reinstall Windows. It does not have any effect on hardware.
