Work on Windows continues round the clock at Redmond, and the company has 10,000 Windows builds to prove it. Microsoft recently crossed this historic milestone.
That’s no confirmation that exactly ten thousands builds of the Windows operating system have been compiled, but there is no information that refutes this either — in any case, this is just a landmark figure for fans that like to keep tabs on Windows builds.
The company reached this milestone ahead of its Windows 10 press event that it scheduled to take place in just a couple of hours from now.
Interesting, but it is not going to have any impact on the Windows Insider program or which version is going to be released to preview users in the next few days. Highly unlikely that Microsoft will roll out such a fresh build that may contain bugs and other stability issues to users.
At least, without putting it through its paces first.
And this is a notion that Gabriel Aul, the head of the Windows Insider program agrees with:
@BAV0 Correct 🙂

But it does show that development of Windows 10 continues at a fast and furious pace.
It was not all that long ago that build 9925 was completed, at least according to an unofficial source. And with new features being added to the platform, no wonder that the software titan is scaling up the numbers chart here.
Anyway, another big milestone for the company that is known for big milestones.
