What is KMSpico?
KMSpico is an online tool that is used for activating the Windows 10 operating system for free. It basically exploits the KMS Technology of Microsoft.
Microsoft primarily provides two ways to activate their services, one is Multiple Activation Key (MAK), and the other one is the Key Management System (KMS).
When the MAK method is used for the activation process, the user calls back to the Microsoft Servers for the key verification. On the other hand, Key Management System (KMS) is the technology developed by Microsoft that allows the activation of Microsoft services through the local network. It means that using KMS the services like Windows 10 or MS Office can be activated without connecting to Microsoft Servers. So when the KMS method is used, unlike MAK, users call back to the local KMS server rather than Microsoft’s server.
This technology was mainly developed for organizations that use Microsoft services on their thousands of computers that are connected on a local server.
What KMSpico does is, it misuses this technology. KMSpico replaces the current key with the volume license key and activates the Windows OS or MS Office by creating an instance of the KMS server, thereby bypassing the online activation. Since Windows is unable to connect to the Microsoft servers, it would activate itself with the replaced key thinking it as the original one.
How to use KMspico?
If you want to use KMspico, here are the steps to do that:
- First, download the KMSpico activator from the trusted sources.
- Before installation, disable Windows Defender and other security programs(if any).
- Next, after the completion of the download, run the file to complete the installation.
- Run the KMspico program after the completion of installation.
