First Case: Bypass Windows 10 Password when you know the Password
The first case is when you remember the password but want to get rid of the password anyway. Bypassing the password login is simple, and you’ll have two methods for it.
Method 2: by removing Windows 10 login password
Method 1: Bypass Windows 10 Password by netplwiz
Just follow the steps below, and you will be able to bypass it easily.
Step-1: As you know the password, first you have to log in to Windows 10 with it.
Step-2: After that, Press Windows Key + R to open the Run box.
Step-3: Next you have to type “netplwiz” in Run box and press Enter.
Step-4: You need to uncheck the option Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
Step-6: After clicking apply you will see a pop-up dialog, enter the selected user account password and click OK.
Step-7: Lastly, you have to restart Windows 10, and you can directly sign in Windows 10 without choosing login user and entering a password.
This step is pretty easy to follow and a simple solution for all your troubles.
Method 2: By Removing Windows 10 Password in PC Settings
Now let’s try out the second method. Here you have to remove the Windows 10 login password in PC settings when you could access the computer.
Just follow the steps below, and you should be fine.
Step-1: Firstly, you have to sign-in to Windows 10 with the administrator (local account) or Microsoft account and then open PC settings.
Step-2: After that, go to Accounts and navigate to Sign-in options. Then click Change button under Password.
Step-3: After that, remove the Windows 10 login password.
If your Windows 10 PC is signed in with Microsoft account, then you need to navigate to sign in with a local account at first. But If Windows 10 computer has only available Microsoft account, this way would not work for you. You have to try a different way.
So, if your Windows 10 has been signed in with a local account, you need to follow the instructions below:
Step-1: First, you need to type the current user password and click Next.
Step-2: When asked for a new password just don’t type anything in New Password and Reenter Password, Password hint box. After that, click Next and Finish.
Second Case: Bypass Windows 10 Password when you do not know the Password
If you have forgotten or lost the password, there are two ways to bypass the Windows 10 password automatically without a fuss.
Note: If you just have Microsoft account for login, I would recommend you to follow method 2, which will directly remove Microsoft account password.
Method 1: Bypass Windows 10 Admin Password with Reset Disk
Method 2: Bypass Windows 10 Password with Password Removal Tool
Method 1: Bypass Windows 10 Admin Password with Reset Disk
You should know that the Windows password reset disk is the most common way to reset or remove the password when you forget it.
So, if you have a reset disk for Windows 10 login user, you need to plug it in and bypass the password immediately.
Before removing Windows 10 password with disk:
Step-1: First, you need to power on Windows 10 and go to the login screen.
Step-2: Next, select the user who has a password reset disk and intentionally type an incorrect password. Windows will let you know that the password is wrong, click OK and Reset password link will appear.
Step-3: After that, click Reset password link under password box after wrong password input on the login screen.
Step-4: The Password Reset Wizard will start to run, and you just need to follow it to reset it.
Step-5: When you are asked to reset a new password for the user account, don’t type anything and click Next and Finish.
Step-6: Exit password reset disk and login Windows 10 without any password.
There you have now got rid of the password without any trouble.
Method 2: Bypass Windows 10 Password with Password Removal Tool
Part-1: Bootable USB drive
This method is the last resort if none of the above works. You need to download and install the Windows password removal tool and remove the password. I would recommend Windows Password Recovery Pro as I found this one safe and support Windows 10.
But first, go to the link below and download the program on another PC. You need to make a bootable disk for it to work.
The program will give you two ways to create a recovery disk. Choose the one relevant (USB/DVD). So, if you are using a USB flash drive, then just insert that on your PC and select that for creating a recovery disk.
After selecting just click Burn USB and you will end up with a bootable USB. But remember not to plug it out before it finishes burning.
Part-2: Insert the USB Drive to Your Locked Computer and Boot Computer from USB
After creating the USB drive, you need to insert it into the locked PC. Make sure your PC boots from USB.
After you boot up your PC the Windows Password Recovery program will start, and you will see the main screen. It will detect all the current accounts and lists to you. You can select the relevant user and reset the password accordingly.
After the reset, the password would be blank, and you’ll get a Congratulation message. Then just click Reboot and your PC will log in without the password.
But as I said before this process is only for the last resort, and I would recommend you to not jump to this method immediately. If nothing works then, you can give this one a try.

It is interesting that I should receive an e-mail with a link showing your methods of by-passing the password to Windows 10. I mostly use my laptop but the other day I tried to boot up my pc. When it got to ‘enter password’ I did so but it wouldn’t/didn’t recognise it. I was sure it was the correct password but I tried others, now it has locked me out only allowing one try before requiring me to switch off the pc and switch on again. Is there any way I can access my pc windows 10 log in without the password please?
Many thanks,
Colin
Have you tried the Windows password recovery program?
