Set Animated GIF Image as Background Wallpaper on Windows 10
So, today I’ll discuss a completely free software called BioniX, which does the job well. It’s not fancy or anything but gets the job done smoothly. So let’s see how it works out.
For setting it in Windows 10, you have to follow the steps below. It’s super easy, so you’ll have no problem following them.
Step-1: First of all, you have to download BioniX desktop wallpaper changer software and then install it. Just click on the link below to download it.
Step-2: The installation is basic so that you won’t have any fuss doing it. But before doing anything else, download all your favorite high-quality GIFs so that you can set them as a background.
Step-3: After you have selected your favorite one, go ahead and open BioniX software and look for Wallpaper source tab.
Step-4: After you have found it, click it, and you’ll see other tabs opening from it. Next, look for the Playlist tab.
Step-5: Once you have found it, you’ll see a file icon there. Click it and browse to the GIF file you wanted as a background. Once you have found it, click on it to get it on the playlist.
Step-6: After that right-click on the file and select Apply/Refresh Wallpaper to set the GIF. Or you could also press f5 to do that. And you’re done!
Now you’ll see your precious GIF as your background. But you have to keep running the tool to make the GIF run in the background. So you have to configure it to start at Windows startup.
And if you want to make it stop you just have to click the stop button in the tool, and it’ll stop running.
See, it was straightforward to do. Now you know how to set animated GIF image as background in Windows 10. But do remember as it will take up some of your resources and will drain your battery a bit faster. But if it’s the price you want to pay then you should go for it.
