Hold Winkey (the key with the Windows logo on your keyboard) and press the up arrow to maximize a window or down arrow to minimize it.
You can also use Winkey in conjunction with the left and right arrow keys to snap the currently selected window to either the left or right-hand side of your screen. This is particularly handy when you want to work with two apps at once.
And finally, Windows 10 also provides a way to quickly tidy things up by pressing Winkey and Home to minimize everything except the current window.
Although most of these tasks can also be accomplished with a mouse cursor, these quick keyboard shortcuts are easy to remember, and hard to forget once you start using them. Experiment with these to find out more positions and sizes for your open windows in Windows 10.
